HBA golfer Noah Camacho ('23) paused to take in this scene while at practice and thought of this verse from the Gospel of John: "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:4-5)⠀

"The view from the summit of senior year is endles "The view from the summit of senior year is endless and uncharted. Standing at the edge of the mountaintop is an entirely different experience than the ascent itself. My goal for the past four years has been to apply to, receive acceptance into, and later attend college. I’ve checked off one of those three bullets, and the remaining two advance with alarming speed, as does the necessity of setting new goals. But in order to set new goals, in order to identify the what of my future, I’m going to need to identify the why first. The what of high school has been to earn As, to complete community service, to compete in sports, and the why has been college. Now that I’m nearing the end of this road, the question stands: Where do I go from here? Or perhaps, to translate it all into more serious terms, what is the purpose of my adult life?" - Johanna Seng ('21)⠀

📚 It's #ReadAcrossAmericaDay, also known as #Dr 📚 It's #ReadAcrossAmericaDay, also known as #DrSeussDay. The annual National Read Across America Day falls on March 2—Dr. Seuss's birthday—and its goal is to encourage kids to read. While most of us have grown out of The Cat in the Hat and other picture books, sitting down with a good book is still food for the soul. What are you reading today?⠀
