Hello and welcome to this week’s post. The Olympics golf tournaments have officially come to a close. In case you missed the action, I have a brief recap of what happened.
Sixty women competed in the women’s golf tournament from last Wednesday to Sunday. For me, it was by far one of the most interesting competitions to watch on the Golf Channel. I hope that golf will eventually become one of the most prominent sports that people will talk about during the Olympic Games.
A big congratulations to all of the women who participated in the tournament. Great job, especially, to the three medalists:
Gold: Inbee Park of Korea (16-under-par)
Silver: Lydia Ko of New Zealand (11-under-par)
Bronze: Shanshan Feng of China (10-under-par)
- [First Round] Stacy Lewis of America: score of 63 (Women’s Olympic Record)
- [First Round-15th Hole] Lydia Ko of New Zealand: from 136 yards on the fairway, 9-iron approach for eagle
- [Second Round-8th Hole] Xiyu Lin of China and Lydia Ko of New Zealand: hole-in-one
Priced: $70 MSRP
Review: This polo was worn by Team USA’s Women in the Rio Olympics on the last round. What I like about this polo is that it can be paired with both navy and white shorts. I also like the American flag star line at the top of the shirt. I think it’s a nice shirt that can be worn both on and off the golf course.[/one_half_last]
