Homecoming Games 2020

Senior Makua Marumoto (#50), center for the HBA Eagles, goes up for a reverse layup against Hanalani. He posted the most points on the board for the Eagles (26 points) but the Royals prevailed 78-74 in this nail-biter triple overtime game.

On January 10, HBA held its Homecoming Games, closing out the end of Spirit Week 2020.

Before a packed home crowd, the Lady Eagles defeated Punahou II in the girls varsity basketball game, with a final score of 47 – 20.

The boys team put up a tough fight in their game but Hanalani prevailed 78 – 74 in a nail-biter triple overtime finish. During the half-time, the results of Spirit Week were announced and the class of 2020 were named the most Spirited Class of the Year.
